My name is Gary Smith, and I have been interested in photography since I was about 16. I started off taking photos of aircraft at airshows. I then joined a local photographic club and started to develop my eye for a good photo. I currently live in Abbots Langley, near Watford, Hertfordshire.
I enjoy nature photography (such as landscapes and wildlife), abstracts and anything else that catches my photographic eye. I enjoy entering competitions as it gives me a chance to challenge myself by fulfillilng the brief.
My aim is to go professional and do wedding photography plus nature photography. I would like to do travel photography too, but that really means taking photos whilst on holiday! I will be using this blog to chart my photographic journey. I hope you enjoy the trip as much as me.
